What’s on our Mind: Koha Multi Factor Authentication

2nd November 2023 | PTFS-Europe

Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) provides an extra layer of security by requiring users to provide two forms of identification when logging in to a system. 2FA was introduced with Koha some time ago but there has been extra functionality included which allows you now to enforce the setting.

Enforcing MFA provides much stronger security for Koha, protecting against compromised passwords. It is recommended for libraries that handle sensitive patron data.

This video guides you through the process of setting this up.
